Terms and Conditions

Online Reservations

All reservations made online or by phone are not considered final or confirmed until approved by one of our representatives along with the final price. Once confirmed, you will receive an email notification with complete details and pricing.

Cancellations

•All deposits are non-refundable.

•The Lux Ride is not liable for delays or cancellations due to mechanical issues but will work with clients to reschedule.

•Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their party.

Damage fees:

•$100 per carpet or seat burn

•$250 sanitation fee

•Alcohol consumption and drug use are strictly prohibited by law. Any fines incurred will be the client’s responsibility.

•Drivers may terminate a ride without refund in cases of misconduct.

•Smoking is not permitted in most vehicles (at driver’s discretion).

•Overtime charges apply after the first 15 minutes beyond the prearranged time.

•The Lux Ride is not responsible for delays due to unsafe road conditions (ice, snow, accidents, etc.) or for items left inside the vehicle.

•Full balances must be paid to the driver prior to the start of the trip.

•Vehicles cannot exceed seating capacity.

Cancellation Policy:

Sedan/SUV bookings: 100% cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 6 hours of pickup.

Sprinter Vans, Limousines & Buses: 100% cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 48 hours of pickup.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions

• All vehicles are steam-washed, sanitized, and disinfected daily.

•Vehicles are sanitized after every trip before going out for the next ride.

•Electrostatic spray cleaning is used before each dispatch.

•Chauffeurs wear masks and gloves for every ride.

•Hand sanitizer and wipes are available for passengers.

•Chauffeurs undergo daily temperature checks and weekly COVID-19 testing.

•Partitions are available upon request.

•Passengers are required to wear masks while inside the vehicle.

Flight & Baggage Policy

Flight Changes: Notify dispatch at least 5 hours before pickup; otherwise, a full charge will apply.

Baggage: Passengers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings. Waiting charges apply after the grace period if delayed due to lost luggage.

Grace Periods:

Domestic flights: 45 minutes from actual landing (then $1/min waiting).

International flights: 60 minutes from actual landing (then $1/min waiting).

Customs arrivals: Drivers will wait up to 1 hour 15 minutes for international and 1 hour for domestic flights. If no contact is made, the driver will be released, and a full fare will be charged.

Non-Airport Pickups

•15-minute grace period applies. After that:

•$1/min for Sedans

•$1.50/min for SUVs

Cruise Ship & Pier Pickups

• Clients must contact dispatch at +1 (929) 999-6000 or the assigned chauffeur upon disembarking.

•A 30-minute waiting window is provided. After that, full fare will be charged if no contact is made.

•Grace periods: 15 minutes for cruise terminals, 10 minutes for piers. Waiting time charges apply after grace.

•Any changes to scheduled pickup times must be requested at least 12 hours in advance.

NYC Gridlock Alert

During the holiday season, New York City often experiences severe traffic gridlock as determined by the NYC Department of Transportation. The Lux Ride is not responsible for missed flights due to gridlock traffic. Clients are advised to plan accordingly.

Clean-Up & Damage Fees

• Drink spills: $150 cleaning fee (Sedan) / $350 (Sprinter).

•Vomiting inside the vehicle: same fees apply as above.

•Additional fees apply for interior/exterior damages.

Pet Policy

The Lux Ride allows service animals with valid tags. Pets such as dogs or cats may travel if kept inside a carrier. Please notify the booking agent in advance when traveling with a pet.
